Flaming June Master Copy

Medium: Acrylic/oil, hand-painted on canvas
Subjects: 1
Detail level: Refined

The orange drapery is the whole problem of this painting: one colour carried through every value from the lit folds to the shadow, without going muddy or chalky.

Copying it is a colour exercise before it is anything else. The drawing of the sleeping figure underneath has to hold while all that attention goes to the cloth.

This is the studio's own work, painted to develop and demonstrate technique — not a commission, and not something we sell copies of. How we handle image rights.
